Shuffle ????

If I insert last a number of albums into a playlist and play them while on shuffle they don't shuffle ??

If I insert a number of albums into a playlist using insert shuffled, they do shuffle ??

Is this correct or should I be able to on the fly add albums into a playlist using insert last and either have them play in order or have them shuffle.

Out of curiosity, what exactly are you expecting to happen from "Insert Last" whose very name suggests "put them at the end"?

Have to agree with Llorean on this one, I fail to see a reason why you would want something like:

Album A : Track 3
Album A : Track 1
Album A : Track 6
Album A : Track 2
Album A : Track 4
Album A : Track 5
Album B : Track 4
Album B : Track 2
Album B : Track 6
Album B : Track 1
Album B : Track 3
Album B : Track 5
Album C : Track 3

There's actually a feature for that even, the shuffle albums while using directory play one.

Trying to explain why I want this.......

Sometimes I decided I want to listen to Album A, then Album B ( Insert Last ), then Album C ( Insert Last ), however then I get a bit sick of Album A and decided to shuffle them.............

Can it be done

Inside a playlist, the only option is to shuffle songs.

It's possible to shuffle albums, but you'd just have to skip to the end of the album so that it picks a new one randomly.

Sorry, maybe didn't explain myself properly

Want to play Album A , Insert last Album b, Insert last Album C as originally I want to listen to them sequentially,  but then decide I want to shuffle the songs.................

Go to the Context Menu from the WPS, choose "Playlist" then choose "Reshuffle"
