Clock Skew
« on: February 03, 2007, 08:33:40 PM »
Hi, I'm a newb at linux/cygwin and trying to build rockbox. In the build I'm getting messages along the line of error, clock skew, file has a modification time of 1.7s. And other errors like that. I was wondering if that was a problem that I should be worried about, or if it doesn't have any effect on the build. Do you know what it means /  and what I should do about it, if anything?

Its a cygwin issue.  I've never had a problem with it, so I think you can just ignore it.

Yes, it is safe to ignore. Make contains some code to work around this FAT problem, but it isn't enabled in the Cygwin distribution.
