How to intall rockbox when i have ipl allready installed?

I have installed ipod linux with installer 2. So how do i install rockbox that i can choose rockbox,  apple os or ipl? Should i just replase .rockbox and rockbox in my ipod harddisks root?

Yes.

You can follow the install instructions in the Rockbox manual, ignoring the section about installing the Rockbox bootloader.

all you have to do is download the appropate build for your ipod from the current build page and extract the .zip file to the root of your ipod's drive.
