agriff:
Im trying to put doom on my iriver h300 and ive been asked to create a new directory called '/.rockbox/doom/'. How do I do this please. ???

Soader03:
:o :o Are you kidding??? Lol just right click in your file browser and New -> Folder! (In windows, for sure)

Chronon:
Wow.  I am really surprised that you managed to install Rockbox given that you don't know how to create a folder/directory.

Mr_Rabid_Teddybear:
If he's using Mac OS X (or Linux, but then he'd probaby know this - Linux users know things...) the .rockbox directory could be hidden in the file browser, like it's supposed to on *nix systems with dot files and dot directories (OS X'es underlying OS is Darwin - a modified FreeBSD if I understand correctly). The solution is whatever the filebrowser used has for "show hidden files".

Anyways; You're supposed to create a "doom" folder inside your ".rockbox" folder which should reside right on the root of your player and then put the needed files there.

And if you're using Windows: / means the same as \ does on Windows. OK? ;)

Chronon:
Okay.  Well I kind of assumed that the OP had installed Rockbox via a terminal (i.e. ipodpatcher).  A simple "mkdir /.rockbox/doom" should work on either Linux/Mac or Windows (provided you swap the delimiter to \ for windows).
