need help with daily builds

i have an ipod photo 40gb and im using an older build from like a month ago b/c when i try to intsall the new build none of my plugins videos or rockboy work.

You need to make sure you upgrade both the rockbox.ipod file and the contents of the .rockbox folder.

Easiest way is to do what the instructions say and extract the rockbox.zip file directly to your ipod, telling your unzip program to overwrite any existing files.

thanks that worked but wat if i wanted to use the custom rockbox.ipod for one of the themes???

Either use someone's custom build, or use a daily build. I can't think of a good reason to try and mix components from the two without giving yourself the sort of headache that caused you to post in the first place.
