"Play next" in playlist menu freezes rockbox

Using the new "Play next" in the playlist menu freezes rockbox on my archos recorder v1. the red hdd-activity-led stays on all the time but audio playback continues the old playlist. only possibility is to press "off" for a few seconds to shutdown the device.
anyone experiencing the same?

I have tried to reproduce this, but I am unable to do so.

Are you using a new, official build of Rockbox?  Does it behave the same way with the default settings?

tried both using the most recent svn-build and using the default settings but still the same error :-(

What happends if you use "Insert" instead of "Play Next" on the same selection?

all the other options in the playlist menu like "insert" work just perfect, no idea why "play next" freezes rockbox
