HD spins up around 30 seconds before end of playlist
« on: February 01, 2007, 04:33:13 AM »
Hi;

with latest builds (since a few weeks I guess) I noticed on my iHP 140 that around 30 seconds before the end of a playlist (playing a folder/disc) the hard disc spins up for a second or two.

I haven't noticed this behaviour in older builds, like from last summer. Is there any reason for this behaviour? It really happens all the time, so it does not seem to be a buffer refill - or is it possible the buffer always is filled without the last seconds of the playlist? Or does rockbox write / clear any settings before playback stops?
