help.

Clarification: I got the AC3 stream ripped from the first VOB of the main feature to work. I also got one big stream ripped from all the VOBs concatinated together to work.

Unfortunately, the streams ripped from the other VOBs, or VOBs containing individual chapters won't play.

Any suggestions? Perhaps some important header information is being missed.

Thanks,

Malcolm.

What does the "file" command tell you about the ripped AC3 files?

It's possible that your streams are starting mid-frame, meaning that the magic AC3 frame header which Rockbox uses to identify the file as AC3 isn't at the start of the file.

If this is the case, search the stream for the sequence "0b 77" and strip all bytes before that.

Yay! It worked. There all playing now. Thanks!

Malcolm.
