The rockbox default theme

Hello, I don't know if its called the peak meter, but in the default rockbox theme, when i play a song, i can see 2 bars moving together with the beat of my music, is it possible to remove it? because it cause my ipod to lag...

Yes - just pick a WPS theme which doesn't use it. From what I can tell on the themes pages - most theme authors don't include it.
