Line Rider

For those who d like to program something but dont know what - Something like line rider would be very nice.

Haha! Well, I won't be going to try this in the (very) near future, but
I saw there was a TI-84 version of this. Maybe the BASIC code will make
it easy to find out how it's done exactly...

It's not "given up", there was simply no one who was interested in it. That's what usually happens to topics in forums ... Feel free to work on it yourself.

guys i have a flash version of the game , can we rather focus on building a plugin able to play .swf files ?

No.

(That's a much more complex task. Going the hard route might be appropriate in some cases, but it's definitely not worth in this case.)

you'd have alot more luck getting someon to write a TI-BASIC emulator (which I keep thinking about doing, then realising just how much work I have to do IRL and for it...)

Well I've tested out the TI-83 version of line rider for a couple days and... it sucks. It's not even close to how the original Line Rider plays. The physics are messed up. For example, if your in a loop and there is a gap in the top of the loop sort of like an upside down jump, you will fly straight up in the air instead of continuing in the direction you were going. It's really not fun compared to the computer flash version of line rider.
