Loding Original Firmware on gigabeat

On the boot screen it says press menu to load rescue mode , VOL Up to load original kernal or something and hold the A button to LOAD original firmware i press A and it says

Loaded: 452764
Bank0 mem test: 822096128
Woops, Should not return from firmware !

i am looking to load the oringinal firmware once or twice an then just use rockbox and not have to mess around with a computer

Right now loading the original firmware doesn't work. The only way to do it at the moment is to hold Volume +, which essentially uninstalls the Rockbox bootloader, so you end up having to redo that.
