I just installed rockbox on my ipod and all i get when i start it is a black screen and it sayd

Rockbox boot loader
version: 20061220-0910
IPOD version: 0xDDDDDDDD
TOSHIBA MK8010GAH

I tried to uninstall it but when i plug it into my computer it doesn't do anything.

You have a 5.5G 80gb iPod. What suggested to you that your iPod was supported?

It said ipod video was supported, i didn't see anywhere that said it wasn't

The front page, for example, doesn't give you that clue?

Or the note in the manual?

Or the note on the IpodInstallationBeta page?

The two places with official install instructions, plus the front page of the site, all say explicitly that the 80gb model is not supported.

I can't do that if my computer wont recognize the ipod.  I already said that when i connect it to my computer is doesn't do anything.  I already tried resetting it and it still didn't do anything.

Just boot it into disk mode. That still works, as we *can't* prevent that from working.
