deleting original folder systems (iAudio)
« on: January 27, 2007, 08:55:43 PM »
I have installed rockbox on my iaudio x5 60gb (so far loving it), and for better organization, was wondering if it would be ok to delete the folders originally included in the unit (i.e. _SYS, MOVIES, RECORD, recycled, etc, etc), or if I should keep these on.

You can delete them (but you might want to backup the sample media if you care).

Booting into the original firmware will re-create all those folders, so if you dual boot you'll have to re-delete them every time.
