Gigabeat WPS attempt. 240x320x24

Here's my first attempt at creating a wps.    Suggestions are definately welcomed.  I used Gimp for most of the images.  Any information on how to get rid of the glaring white background from the Volume and Hold icon, would be greatly appreciated. Also I'm not sure of the font and font color. Any other information people would like to see and where it would go, is good too. Thanks in advanced. -Nate!



By the way, I took this picture off the coast of Oahu.

Here's an update.  I'm using the comic Sans font.  So when I upload, that won't be the font to use.  Please comment.  Thanks.  -Nate!

Take a screenshot of your WPS working in the simulator or on your player and upload it to the forums or to a site like imageshack.us

Great photo! The WPS is looking good.

To get the full size image you need to point to a different url on imageshack.  Currently you are pointing to the thumbnail image that imageshack creates:

Please edit your initial message and have the img tag point to

I'm in the process of changing a few things now.  (Adding more information, Larger font, etc.)  Still a work in progress.  Thanks for the input.

This WPS is for the Gigabeats 240x320x24.  This particular version is for a 20070215-build with just the current album art patch (20070214.)  I plan on doing a version for an album art and scrolling margins build in the next couple of days.  Not sure what the procedure is for that.  When I'm ready, should I add both to the gallery or just post that I have two different versions?

I think I'm close to uploading to the gallery.  Feed back is welcomed positive or negative.  

I'll have to change the one I upload somewhat because I'm using the ms comic sans font size?-10.  When I upload, it will use a non-copyrighted font.  Also, I can't figure out where it's coming from or how to get rid of the invisible band under the album art.  If I move the picture down 10 or so pixels you can see it.  Crazy.

Anyway let me know what you all think.

I figured out where that invisible band was coming from.  I moved the %C tag to the end of the file.  It was originally placed where the invisible band was located.  Some more minor tweeks and I'll upload today.
