Installing patch problem

(1/2) > >>

crowesBR:
Hi
I'm trying to install one patch on my ipod 5G Video.
I use this guide http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/SimpleGuideToCompiling#Finally_Compiling
But said that PATCH IS NOT A COMMAND.

What I'm doing wrong?

Use this: patch --binary -p0 < record.diff

Thanks
Anderson

Are you in Cygwin, linux, OSX, Colinux or VMWare?

have some way to install patch on windows?

Trying to record with tunetalk.

Llorean:
In windows you will use Cygwin, VMWare, or Colinux. Have you actually followed the whole set of directions at the page you linked, or did you just try to skip ahead?

crowesBR:
Well.
I install Ipod Rockbox from Daily Build page. Zip file.
Extract the files on the root of ipod than make instalation on cmd commands.
Ipodpatcher, bootloader,...

So, Rockbox is installed and working good.

Need to install Cygwin to install the patch?

P.S.: i'm installing Cygwin.

Oh, forgot. The zip file don't have HOME / GUEST folder. ???

Thanks
