Rockbox boot error on ipod 5.5g

OK I just recently successfully installed rockbox on my ipod 5.5g and as soon as i disconnected my ipod it tryed to boot rockbox and it gave me this error:
"rockbox error: -1
Loading original firmware..."
And after that it of course rebooted the original ipod firmware and it just does the same thing everytime i try to reboot my ipod. What's wrong?!.

Please read section 2.2.2 of the manual, or if you've already read it, read it more carefully. You skipped over important installation steps, or did not do them as described in the manual.
