MAME games on ipod nano with rockbox?

is it possible to put "MAME" games on your rockbox    i have a 2GB ipod nano

No, MAME is not compatible with the GPL which rockbox requires. Sure someone could port MAME, but it would never be included in SVN unless MAME changes their license.

Is MAME as in the program from mame.net not compatible with the GPL, or is MAME including any program which runs MAME ROMs, like MAME32 etc. not compatible with the GPL due to copyright?

I am not a lawyer, but it certainly appears that programs that depend on MAME must be released under a license that preserves the rights of the original MAME license.  So code that is dependent on MAME would most likely pose the same problems for incorporation into a GPL project.

how do you get games like GTA2 and pokemon? i have the sansa e200 rockbox... would that work widdit?
