Zune dock connector pin out thread

hi qables,

The connector we are looking for is the QL11203-C638-7F from Foxconn.
This connector is the one used on the dock station of the Toshiba gigabeat F series.
There is a version of this connector for cable but I didn't find any reference for it
You can find it on the cable for the Toshiba PDA E800 see this link : http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/adet.to?coid=-27312&poid=265291

I contacted Foxconn directly but the minimum quantity for order was to much for me.

If you can find us ever the dock one or the cable one in small quantities it would be great, we are waiting for this to finish develop some interface for the gigabeat serie F.

The Toshiba PDA E400/E800 is the same connector as the Axim X5, it is a 20 pin connector.

It can be delivered I will check the price for single pieces. Any idea how much?

Maybe make some pre order thread?

The Axim has a QL11203-C631 afaik which is not the same.
Also, we have a 40 pin connector, not 20.

So, do you still think you can get us some of those QL11203-C638-7F ?

Well then we are not speaking the same language here I guess.
The link of the Toshiba cable you provided earlier has a 20 pin connector.

I am checking the foxconn type nbr you gave me, it seems to be an SMT type, I will keep doing my best, I am sorry if it does not goes quick enough.

BTW I am still looking for the Zune pin out table, that is why I started this thread.

I'm afraid I can't help you with the Zune. Did you try some Zune forums for help with the tracing?
