zxbox (manic miner) on iAudio X5

Hello

I'm trying play Manic Miner using zxbox on the iAudio X5 (X5L to be precise), but its unplayable because i can only jump straight up.  I've tried mapping jump to both Select and Up, but neither will let me jump sideways.

Could the fire button be mapped to play or record instead?  I'm not sure if this would fix the problem or not... is the X5 capable of detecting multiple button presses?

No, it's a HW limitation.
The only button that can be detected with another is the power switch.
(but you can press one main-unit button and one remote button )
