Custom wps...really excited someone help

im getting some ideas and stuff from other wps's ive seen and kinda changing stuff just to get the hang out the whole creating one process.......i have so many ideas of ones i want to make but im not really understanding how this works...(and i have read the wiki creating a wps page)...ok so the only code i know is HTML and say ur making a webpage and u need a picture to be on the right side of the screen..or the bottom... there is ways to put it where u want....the current wps i am working on had a volume bar thing at the bottom left of the screen...i have my images for the volume bar made already but i dont want it at the bottom of the screen i need it to be in this box i made near the middle....how to i put it where i want???  someone please help
