iPod Video .wav File Trouble-Rockbox
(1/1)
Benchwarmer969:
Hi, I'm using the latest build of rockbox as along with Senab's latest build. I put some .wav files on my ipod, but it can't even see the albums or the files! I have tried updating the "Database" a million times and it doesn't work. Am I missing some codec that I need?
P.S. The wave files work fine on the Apple OS.
lachlan:
Are you using Senab's build or the latest Rockbox build? They don't run side by side.
If you are using Senab's build then there is nothing we can do to help you, as Unofficial Builds are not supported. You will have to ask your questions in the Senab build thread.
Also, how exactly do the .wav files play back in the Apple firmware? I thought the OF only supports Apple lossless?
Benchwarmer969:
Well, what I found out, is that they are there, only they don't have a file name. They all show up under "" I don't know what you mean by "Also, how exactly do the .wav files play back in the Apple firmware? I thought the OF only supports Apple lossless?" Apple can play standard WAVE files.
P.S. I'm using Senab's build.
Llorean:
.WAV files do not have tagging, so they'll show up as untagged in the database.
Benchwarmer969:
Oh, thanks for the help. I'll just convert them to Apple Lossless then.
