Rockboy on Nano
Nate!:
What type of OS are you using? If you have XP or a Windows env, I found this thread to be extremely helpful.

I read other Wikis and the such, and couldn't get things to work. This explains things in a non-linux, non-developer, easy process.
Hope that helps.

Llorean:
Then wait until it's officially included.
You have two options:
1) Have patience.
2) Wait until an official or unofficial build includes it.
Please, do NOT ask for unsupported builds. If you want a specific unsupported build to include it, ask in their thread. Politely.

or 3) find a member here that has stated that they have a patched version of rockbox with the patch that i want, and then i could nicely ask them to use 5 minutes of their time to upload it and send it to me.........................................
oh wait i tried that and it did not work :-\
Llorean:
Because you PMed me.
As a member who by the time I'd read the PM had broken our forum guidelines.
Requesting something that in fact I already didn't have any more because I have no use for Rockboy, and needed to test other things, and don't like to have multiple patches on my build for testing.
And I've publically stated I do not make custom builds for people.
This also doesn't address the maintainability. I've explained in many cases why it's better for a man to learn how to fish than be given a fish:
What happens when a new feature is added to the main build you want. Do you pester me to make an updated copy, or do you finally learn to compile? If the latter, do it now instead. If the former, there's more hassle for me.
