need help loading themes

i have tried to change the theme several times, but is has never worked. whenever i select the theme, the background turns black and the text white, and thats it. i have downloaded some themes too, and they do the same thing. could someone please tell me where to put the files and what files to put.

Are you unzipping them properly?

A basic theme should have a theme_name.cfg unzipping into .rockbox/themes and a theme_name.wps unzipping into .rockbox/wps

There may also be a theme_name folder unzipping into .rockbox/wps

The WPS should be loaded from [menu]>Browse Themes
