*IPOD MINI 2G WENT DEAD I NEED MAJOR HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*

My ipod mini 2g worked well for about 30 minutes then went dead. It wont charge i have tried reseting it while charging on the computer and that results in just a black and white battery. When i reset iot off charging it displays a battery with an exclamatioin point. when i charge it from wall it goes to the rock box loading screen where it says rock box loaded at the end then the ipod stays lit up and wont do anything else. Please help me i dont know what to do.

The black and white charging screen is normal, I don't understand what the question is.

If you're having major issues with charging the battery, simply load up the default apple software, by switching the Hold button following a manual reset. This will enable you to charge at full speed from the USB, if the iPod is using more energy than it consumes.

thank you but it wont do anything now it wont turn on reset go into any modes or be recognized by the computre and it wont charge
