I love teagames
« on: January 22, 2007, 07:54:52 PM »
Would it be possible to somehow port some games from teagames.com.  Those games require 4 buttons at most(MENU,FORWARD,BACKWARD,PLAY) the key config would easyly work with the ipod.

if you get anything ot work get skate

I doubt the games on teagames.com come with a source code, so no, they can't be ported. However, it would be possible to write a game from scratch in C that is more or less identical. Unless that also falls within the definition of a 'port'?

A recreation using C not C++ would be even better for you I suspect!

Then code it yourself.  You should "give up" if all you are doing is begging other people to create it for you.

Yo man, microsoft didn't get anywhere by asking people that have absolutely no C programming skills to develope their own apps.  This forums not the most helpful.  I prefer IpodWizard.  People there actually help you.

You make some solid points.
If someone at the IpodWizard forums ports you a Teagame to the IpodWizard OS, I will take up the challenge and port you TWO Teagames to the Rockbox OS.

Microsoft also didn't get anywhere by giving their software away for free with source code, nor I suspect would they be particularly open to you phoning up and requesting they make you a specific program for free, in their own time, for no recompense.

So what would you prefer - you were told honestly it is unlikely to happen unless you do it, or to say, sure, but then it never happen?
