errr switching between firmwares and other Qs

need help with some questions as this rockbox has overwhelmed me! and i'm notmally gd with technology

i've searched this and didn't find anyhting useful. well i've followed the instructions on switching between apple and rockbox. switch ipod(mines a 5g 30gb)off press menu and put hold on quickly. i've also tried the hold menu one. but that doesn't work??? the first one gets to loading orginal but thats it my ipod just keeps turning off and ocming back to that screen one. keeps looping doesn't take ages or somthing?



and is there another player for .mp4 casue i dn't want to have to convert all my .mp4s to mpg(i think theres a way off playing mp4s on the viewer casue it would be silly if it wern't included right?) and is it true audio won't work with the videos?:O

btw i'm using the latest daily build for ipod video 5g
and i can unistall rockbox to get apple back but i need a comp to do that.
