bmp2rb == Paint Shop Pro 9? (RE:Gigabeat Bootloader)
MaD_MaX:
I new to Rockbox and this might be a stupid question. Anyway, how can I change the bootsplash on my gigabeat F. I tried to put the bootsplash.raw file everywhere (in root, .Rockbox, GBSYSTEM, ...) but I never got rid of the ugly bootloader from Toshiba.
ColdSphinx:
@MaD_MaX: The boot picture is integratet in the rockbox. file ("rockbox.gigabeat" for you).
You have to recompile or you can try it with this tool (click) the target picture can be found on the svn (make sure you choose the right one and replace it wit one in the same size).

Strangely, not for the gigabeat. The bootloader searches for bootsplash.raw in the root, if it doesn't find it it shows the original one. This makes it much easier to change that image.
Llorean:
This is very likely to change though. In the end it should be the Rockbox binary loading a regular bitmap. Bootloaders should not do other things.
