bmp2rb == Paint Shop Pro 9? (RE:Gigabeat Bootloader)

I was just wondering is it possible create a raw file for the Gigabeat Rockbox bootloader using Paint Shop Pro 9 instead?
PSP does have the ability to make raw files (I just need to know the attributes,  mainly header size). I just hope bmp2rb isn't a proprietary raw file maker.

I ask cause not only would it be more convient to use PSP but also bmp2rb doesn't work for me for some reason. I use the command line "bmp2rb.exe input.bmp -f 4 -r > bootsplash.raw" in the command prompt window (after placing the .bmp in the same folder as bmp2rb and replacing input.bmp in the command line with the filename .bmp) but the raw file it outputs doesn't work, I can tell by the filesize and the fact that when I put on the Gigabeat it shows up garbled. I even used the original stock image and that comes out wrong as well.

Also what does the "-r" attribute do? When looking through the options that one isn't there. When removed though it does it make the outputted raw file bigger.

bmp2rb is the tool in Rockbox that converts images from BMP to the Rockbox internal format. The tool is available as source code in the Rockbox tarballs and source repository.

Thanks dude_phoenix an Badger but bmp2rb works now.

It turns out I had an older version of it which didn't have the -r option. I updated my source to the Jan 19th build which had the latest version of the tool.
