Viewing songs by Genre on Rockbox

Forgive me if this is the wrong forum by the way.

I just installed RockBox... AWESOME software!

I installed it onto my iRiver H10 Lounge Grey edition, and everything is perfect, but I do have one question:

How can I view songs by Genre instead of by artist on this software? I always views songs by genre on default software.

Help is appreciated, thanks!

You should use the Database, which lets you browse your music based on tags in the music files. Read up on it in the manual.

Where is the database? I don't see the option...

Actually, I found that option, but it says Database not ready when I try to choose any of the viewing options...

In the manual, it's section 4.2. You'll find out how to find the option on your player by reading that section.

To make the Database ready, initialize it (the manual says how) before attempting to use it.

I do realize the manual tells these things, but I couldn't find them in the manual... Sorry.
