i need help with the bootloader part of the install

ok so i got everything up to the part where you have to type

C:\rockbox>ipodpatcher 1 -a bootloader-ipodvideo.ipod and then it says

[ERR]  Couldn't open input file bootloader-ipodvideo.ipod
[ERR]  --add-bootloader failed.

please help me i would really like to have Rockbox. i have windows xp and 30 gig video.

Did you actually make a file called bootloader-ipodvideo.ipod ?  If not, use the name of the file you created in step 2:

Also, in the future, if you get a file not found message, it probably means you don't have the file in question.  Rather then posting here, you should probably first confirm that you don't have the file, and then review the step in the instructions where you were supposed to get the file.  If that doesn't help, you'll be in a much better situation to explain the problem once you have a better idea of why you're having it.
