Error 1 HELP ME PLEASE IMMEDIATELY

i installed the rockbox onto my ipod mini 1st gen with windows, I no what i did wrong is I unzipped the files to my ipod first but now I dont Know How 2 fix it, somebody plz hlp me

I am sorry for improper words. I understand how to fix my problem but my Ipod Mini is not connecting onto my computer. IT resets and then shows me the error screen and then resets itself repeatedly. Can someone tell me how to connect my Ipod after I see the error 1

I restarted my Ipod Mini 1st gen in disk mode after i recieved the error 1 screen. I realized that I had zipped the rockbox file to my ipd so I deleted them and then I restarted the whole installation process. I did it correctly I know but I am still receiving the error 1 screen, what should I do.

And also, If i am using a windows xp computer, when I downlaod the ipodpatcher, what computer should I have used, win32

Then you didn't do it correctly.

Is there a file, rockbox.ipod, in the root of your iPod? This means if your ipod is the D drive, is there D:\rockbox.ipod ?

Also, please don't start a second topic when you're still having the same problem.
