i did run fsck for fat32 fs and it did correct errors. I thought this might be a FS problem. Is there any harm in formatting (the very first load I did of music I forgot to unmount before I unplugged so there was a lot of stuff that could have been damaged.) if I put the proper folders back. And what are the proper folders/do you know of any docs on formatting an Iriver?
