Need help with opening ipodpatcher (pathetic, I know)

What happens when you enter the ipodpatcher --scan command?

I don't know how to get there. ??? ???

Also, I can put my nano into Disk Mode, but when I plug it in, it dosen't show up.

How do you expect us to help you if you don't give us any detail?  

If you want help, you're going to need to describe *EXACTLY* what you've done so far and what trouble you're having currently.

Sorry. OK, I've unzipped the .zip file and put it on my iPod. Then, I made a folder on the C: drive called "rockbox" and put the bootloader and the ipodpatcher in it. Then, entered the command prompt and typed this:

C:/rockbox/ipodpatcher

I don't know what to do now.

Also, how do you enter a command? (i'm bad with script)

You need to run ipodpatcher from  within the \rockbox directory.

Type:

cd \rockbox
ipodpatcher --scan

and then proceed as the directions indicate for the results of the ipodpatcher --scan command.
