Why are you using the old installation instructions?

Well, if you read the manual, the new installation instructions are there.

Also, if you don't ignore the big red line at the top of the IpodInstallation page, then you'll find another link to new instructions.

If you were doing something other than the instructions in the manual, or our wiki, you were following unofficial instructions anyway and should have asked wherever you got them for help.
