Stupid Noob Question: database and filetree?
« on: January 13, 2007, 11:48:43 PM »
Been desperately trying to fix up my tagnavi_custom.config file... it's a nightmare in Notepad (which is the best I've got) because there are all sorts of relevant hidden characters.

I've ALMOST got what I want:

Artist
Album
Track
Search...

What I wonder is: is there a way to add a "Browse" or "Tree" option that will show the files in tree view rather than by tag?

I know I can always disable the ID3 tagging (using File View) but it seems like it would be a more elegant to solution to have

Artist
Album
Track
Tree
Search...

No currently not. Adding an option to show the file tree has been discussed, though.

Can't help you with your tagnavi-problem, but with your Notepad issue. There are several vastly better free editors aviable, for instance notepad++ or jEdit (requires Java).
