ipodlinux + rockbox + original firmware?
sebajo:
I found a script someone wrote that will allow you to use iPodLinux with a 5.5g Video. The script and iPodLinux work, but I can't get the original firmware or Rockbox to work. The script is here: http://ipodlinux.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=19046#177823
Does anyone know how I could get Apple OS and Rockbox working with iPodLinux? Thx.
Llorean:
If you're using their loader, you need to ask them for help getting it working.
Are you using Loader2, or the Rockbox bootloader?
sebajo:
I'm using the Rockbox bootloader.
Llorean:
Secondly, are you asking how to use the script, because again we can't support other people's things.
If you follow the official Rockbox installation instructions, you just then need to add an ext2/ext3 partition, put the iPodLinux filetree there, move the kernel's .bin file to the fat32 partition, name it linux.bin and boot Rockbox while holding Play.

I got the iPodLinux bootloader, but it flashes a lot of red text and at the end it says:
--- Code: ---FAT: bogus logical sector size 10092
UMSDOS: msdos_read_super failed, mount aborted.
FAT: bogus logical sector size 10092
FAT: bogus logical sector size 10092
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 03:03
--- End code ---
Do you have any advice?
