Database weirdness
« on: January 12, 2007, 02:28:02 PM »
Hi guys,

I hope you can help me out, I've got a 5th Gen 60g iPod, which I've installed the latest rockbox on. My machine is a PPC based OS X machine. Now I'm using iTunes as my standard manager, and I've read up the documentation on the database and tried to impliment. So I initialise the database, the disk spins up, it reads for a bit and then stops, I set everything on File Viw to see the Database, but...I still don't seem able to see my music.

Any idea's why would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

You need to reboot after initializing database, so it commits it (whatever that means).

There have been a couple of ipods on the forum having the same issues.
I think the reason has been been bad tags in files that broke the initialization.
