A slightly off-topic post...
I use rockbox on my Archos Jukebox Recorder 15 (a legend piece of kit & even more so with rockbox). I have been looking around for a music management application that will work well with my Jukebox. I use Amarok on Linux which is great and there is some good functionality. Unfortunately my access to my linux machine will be restricted over the coming months and I'll be using Windows XP. I can't find anything on XP to do similar/better. Does anyone have any ideas? I would have thought Windows Media Player would have worked but its features aren't great and it doesn't seem to recognize the Jukebox anyway.
I greatly appreciate any input.

As long as your music is stored in a sensible file tree I don't see why you can't just drag and drop.

I use Microsofts Power toy "Sync Toy 1.4"
I use it in echo mode to keep my ipod completly up to date with the computer music files, never change files on ipod only on computer
and to my amazement it even can detect changes in tags then overwrites the files on the ipod. I use foobar2000 for practicly everthing else ripping,
replay gain tagging and even changing file names. :)

I use JukeboxSynchronizer http://www.cflashsoft.com/jbsynch.htm
It allows two way sync between your Archos and computer and you can ok what it's about to do before it does it. The price is right, too.

A work colleague mentioned that he used software with his ipod to rip and encode music from CD and transfer to it.I was wondering would there being any advantage to having something similar for rockbox?
