This or iAudio X5L for Rockbox?

Making your decision SOLELY on battery life and stability, whcih would you choose? My iAUdio X5L broke and I'm contemplating fixing it ro goign for a new player. I'll wait a bit after Jobs' Keynote if a new iPod comes out.

EDIT: I am referrign to the 5.5 gen 30 GB iPod or 5G 60 GB iPod

There is no question that the X5 has better battery life and more efficient playback at this time than the iPods.
