"Search" viewer plugin errs on .m3u8

The "Create Playlist" option now by default creates .m3u8 file. (This is probably a smart move - showing that this is an UTF-8 encoded M3U playlist.)

But trying to view these with the "Search" viewer plugin only returns "Not a .m3u file" - "Plugin returned an error".

I guess this is probably not quite how this is presumed to work...???

so the plugin works fine if you use playlists saved as m3u? Then it's a bug. Please check if there is already a task for that in the tracker and add one if not.
