Files disappeared ]split from Re: New Bootloader and Installation Procedures]

I've got aproblem with OS file structure after installing new bootloader.

I did those simple action - installed the bootloader - everything was OK.
I decided to change the language - after that my iPod (video 30gb) doesn't see any files.
The directory structure is OK, but none of files inside displayed.

I changed the language back to english, made the backstep with bootpartition.bin backup and re-installed bootloader - it took no effect.

I dont know what else can i do.

please - give me some advice.

once again - the problem is: after changing menu language - all files disappeared (not displayed in iPod), but directory structure staid..

Did you try, Initializing the database?
Go to Main Menu --> General Settings --> File View --> Database --> Initialize Now...
Once you select Initialize now, it will take some time to build the database if you have several files.

Once done that, check again.

No, you posted in the wrong place originally, as the problem you described has nothing to do with the bootloader.  I split your question into a separate thread to increase the chances that it would be answered.

Just tried that...
all the same..
there no files in folders.
i copied some types of files - none displayed in player..

any other ideas?

Check your "Show Files" setting.

You can adjust this setting through the Quick Menu, which you access by pressing and holding the menu button.  Alternately, you can access it through Main Menu --> General Settings --> File View --> Show Files.
