Modifying tagnavi

My wish was: "I use an x5, 60 GB. When I go from "artist" (or album, and so on) there's a list of several hundred names. Now, if I could get that down to first the alphabet, and then all artists sorting under the specific letter I enter, I would be choosing a new song to play much faster."
I was answered that "This feature is already possible, read up on how to modify your tagnavi file".

I would, but I don't know where to find it. I've looked at the manual as well as searched rockbox.org for "tagnavi", "modify tagnavi", etc.
All I found was someone asking for the very same thing here: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/DataBase#Browse_options
Does anyone know how, or where I can find it?

Also, is it possible to sort albums chronologically instead of alphabetically (I have alll folders starting with year, if that helps)

There's THIS in the wiki which is very good and up-to-date...

...and also THIS THREAD covering this subject. Start the thread at the end, however, as the syntax changed considerably over the life of the topic.

You could download and install my custom file (attached to my final post of the thread) as a starter ;D
