put rockbox onto the ipod

im reading the manuel as i go and im just making sure im doing this right only because this is my second ipod and i dont want to break this one either.  so i just plug in the ipod and then what do i do with the rockbox file?

You should do what it tells you to do in the manual.

Seriously, if you have a specific question, then by all means ask it, but don't just say "what do I do" because that is explained step-by-step in the manual.

Also, I'm moving this to the appropriate forum.

oh ok i figured out what i was doing wrong. yeah i cant really phrase a lot of stuff right. i usally write things backwards, but my friend just told me what i did wrong.
