database and file browser

i've just installed rockbox on my ipod 5gen and i find it great!!
i like it expecially to store pictures, it is much more clever than what apple does! i can just put pictures in and show without any funny and huge ithmb files...

but i also like to use the database browser on my rockbox...
so everytime i want to see a picture i have to switch the file view mode to file browser and then back to database... this is a bit boring... is there another way to search and watch my pictures while i'm in database browser mode?

if not... wouldn't that be easy to implement? a quick way to switch between the 2 browser...
i'm not a programmer... otherwise i would like to give my help

I think you can switch between file browser and database by holding menu for 2 or 3 seconds, but I'm not 100% on that.

or maybe just a new entry in the scrollable menu

Holding Menu for a few seconds brings up the quick menu, from which you can very quickly change file view modes. I don't know what you mean by "No," the quick menu is certainly there.
