help! installing rockbox. stuck.

slow diver:
i'm on the step where you make a backup of the ipod's firmware.  when i run the command "ipodpatcher 1 -r bootpartition.bin", it puts a 40 mb .bin file, when it should be giving me an 80 mb one.  

in the dos command thing, i get:



that error screws up the rest of the installation.

i need lossless!!!!

ADDED:
ive fixed it. a long usb cable was cause of this bug
