cant view movies

HI i just installed rockbox on my iaudio x5 its working great however when i go into the movies folder nothing is present there.
anybody able to help?

Rockbox only supports MPEG2 video.

any idea where i can get a convertor for mpeg layer3 videos?
will it support anything else in the future?
