Theme Request Thread

hey guys um awhile back i came on and asked for a 360 theme and whoever it was that made it did a great job. so if you are that person or some one who is good at making nano themes. please make more.
some suggestions.

i agree. I almost want to think that the rockboxed theme could be the new default wps, but it needs some work with all the blank space.

What info would you suggest to fill blank spaces for larger screens? I'm trying to keep the theme uncluttered and easy to read, but I agree that the larger screens could use some extra info.  Currently I'm considering putting the date (screen upper left) and time (screen upper right).

Yes, Rockboxed is good except for the ugly colors and typeface. With a change of font it looks better, and it is basically clean and unfussy. I would make the yellow a bit lighter, though.

Well the color scheme was based on the logo which adorns the site, but of the critiques of the theme, the yellow color is the number two complaint following the number one complaint of too much blank space on larger screens.      

 I will play with the shade of yellow, and see if I can come up with something more pleasing (or at least less offensive).

The original font I used was Chicago (which I personally like), but it had copyright issues and international character issues.  The Nimbus fonts are designed as free licensed replacements for the Chicago font, and have the advantage of international character support and multiple sizes.

Which font do you prefer to use with the Rockboxed theme?

Hey everyone, a bit off topic, but I'm just notifying everyone that I'm having some more things going on in my life, so I'm becoming a bit less active (then I already are) with the Theming. However, I do encourage people to continue posting theme ideas and for ROCKbox artists to take the themes into their own hands, which has happened a few times already. Anyway, sorry, I'll be sure to release a few themes now and then.

a good  legend of zelda a link to the past theme for nano

or a naruto theme for nano the naruto back drop is the first and the wps is second you can do whatever you want to the rest

heres a request for ya....a theme that uses the most battery. flashy icons and moving icons. just a random thought. tell me what ya think. maybe this might be a good idea that will make a pretty good wps

time and the date would sound good. i havent used the theme in awhile and when i loaded it right now it did seem very blank on the top. maybe have your own created status bar.
1. a little icon for when the hd is running. (idea: black dot in the top left corner)
2. the battery in %
3. the volume in db
4. maybe then time and date ?

Now I have; what may be a strange, idea for a theme. Has anyone created an iPod theme that looks exactly like the original? the reason I want this is so that the iPod looks and acts fairly normal but has all the functionality of RockBox.

iPod theme. For iPod's, I assume. And yes. It was removed for copyright reasons about 3 months ago, maybe a little sooner.
