Theme Request Thread

I'm going to post this because I didn't find any rules against it. Admins, feel free to delete this thread if you feel it's innapropriate in any way.

If anyone has any theme ideas, free to post about an idea, maybe even draw up a basic design in MSPaint or something. I'm VERY willing to make themes, but I haven't had any...inspiration, and I've been away for a while. So basically, post if you have an idea for a theme.

i have a lot of ideas but not enough skill to do them.

Ahh...something else. Make sure that you post WHAT MODEL YOU WANT THE THEME FOR!!!

Sorry to bring that up late.

By the way, I'm working on the Mario Brothers theme for iPod 5g for starters, then I'll do the SOAD theme, and then most likely a Johnny Cash Theme, maybe a jeff buckley.

MODIFY: Finished the Mario Theme. Uploading it to the wiki now.




Anyone got any ideas? This is of course a first draft, but working well in my opinion. Not a lot of special features, but I think it works well with everything.

How about something very similar to http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/viewfile/Main/WpsGigabeatF?rev=2;filename=beatMP_wps.png for the 5g iPod? I like the layout and its layout of information. I know you would have to comepnsate because of the screen size difference by deleteing some stuff/ making a smaller font but I hope you can do this.

and I know in that picture it looks a little fuzzy. It's not at all. Very crisp in the actual thing.

Good to see you back mate, since you left there hasn't been many good themes posted. Also, I'm guessing you've stopped working on that last Anyway, I have 2 requests:
1. Finish the Windows Portable themes ;)
2. Make a Homestar Runner theme for 5G iPods. I remember seeing a theme on misticriver.net that was a screenshot of the back of Strongbad's head doing his emails in front of his computer and the computer screen displayed the track info. It was pretty cool.

Keep up the good work.

EDIT: The SOAD of a down theme looks pretty good. But, as you said, that grey bar in the middle looks fuzzy, and the four topmost icons (battery indicator, repeat, play button, shuffle) look like they are placed a bit haphazardly.

i have a couple of requests and they're all for the 2gb nano: if you have time for any of these that'd be great.

a halo theme.

a fire type theme but not like the "blocksfire" one already in the wiki that ones not really BASED on fire

a scarface theme

an xbox360 theme

an alienware theme

These two ideas could turn out looking really good, especially the Alienware one if done correctly.

And also, a reminder of the rules, as this thread seems to have forsaken them: Please use proper punctuation and grammar. No words like 'u', 'ur' or 'lol'. This is so that blind users can enjoy the forums as well.

Working on the 360 Theme right now. Here's what I have so far. I'm a bit stuck with ideas, so if you have any ideas, post.



The buttons are going to handle play, rewind, pause, and fast forward. beyond that, I got nothing. Stuck.

Modify: Okay, so Version 1 Is done. Here's what I did with everything.





As I said before, Green handles play, Yellow handles pause, red handles fast forwarding, and blue handles rewinding. The Xbox X pulses color for battery. When it's full, it's the most green. As it gets closer to 0, the color changes to a more grey color, until it's totally grey around 5-10% battery.

I'm going to go upload it now.

Critique? Anyone?

The X, Y, A, B buttons could actually be used for some sort of indicator lights.
That's the only idea I have.
