I can't charge my ipod with AC :(

Well, when i connect my ipod to computer by USB, this charge correctly but when i connect to AC (I live in Spain and goes 220V, 50Hz) my ipod is rebooting all the time.
It's normal?? What can I do?

To charge by AC, you need to have Rockbox booted, and hold down the menu button while plugging in the cable.  Try that.

Hi!

If you want to listen Rockbox with the charger as a power supply, it's okay.  Hold on MENU while pluging the cable.

But if you want to charge battery, do it in Apple's firmware. Is far better.

Sorry to bump an old topic, but this desperately needs to be added to the Rockbox ipod manual. Plugging an ac charger into a Rockbox ipod while it is playing can lead to serious problems, but no warning of this appears in the documentation.

I do this all the time - I don't fully understand the problem you had, and how you determined that Rockbox was to blame.

PS - Notice the first three posts are from before USB detection was added to the iPod port.  You no longer need to hold down the "Menu" key when inserting a USB charger.
