Disinformation about nimbus-14 font

the font NIMBUS-14 has hebrew chart
i eve chack the font map and i did see hebrew there

But  when i select it in my h320 i cant see hebrew

why is that ?

where can i download the same NImbus font as a *.ttf or *.dbf ?

You don't say which bit of the interface is not showing the characters correctly, but 2 questions:

Do you have your language setting correct?
Are your files tagged with unicode-compliant tags?

Zivo: Hebrew works fine here with Nimbus-14.

When did you last update your fonts? Hebrew was added 30 August 2006.

why the font format in rockbox is not open and easy to edit
you can only convert to rockbox font. you cant convert from

so how can you help me
i have all the software to convert to...  not to convert from...

Because it is made to be used on a very tiny target environment, and is optimized for little space and speedy usage.

Why would you? You should use the BDF format for everything except using on target.
